Type of Employment: Full time Permanent

Location: Accra, Ghana (but candidate must be flexible for travels within and outside of Ghana)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Security Architect to lead our Business Development team. As the Head of Business Development, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our company by leveraging your technical expertise to develop and present innovative security solutions to clients. You will lead a team of talented professionals and collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the Business Development team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive growth in the cybersecurity solutions market.
  • Act as a technical advisor and solutions architect, working closely with clients to understand their security needs, challenges, and requirements.
  • Design and present comprehensive security solutions and architectures that align with clients’ business objectives, addressing their unique security concerns and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities, leveraging your technical expertise to influence clients and provide valuable insights during the sales process.
  • Conduct in-depth technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to showcase the capabilities and value proposition of our security solutions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to continuously enhance our solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Foster strategic partnerships and alliances with technology vendors, integrators, and industry influencers to expand our solution portfolio and market reach.
  • Provide thought leadership by contributing to industry forums, conferences, and publications to elevate our company’s brand and visibility in the cybersecurity community.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and executive leadership, to develop go-to-market strategies, pricing models, and sales collateral.
Education/Qualification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly desirable.
  • 8 years of experience in a Security Solutions Architect or similar role, with a strong focus on business development and client engagement.
  • In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and industry best practices, including network security, cloud security, identity and access management, threat intelligence, and incident response.
  • Proven track record in driving successful business development initiatives and achieving revenue targets in the cybersecurity solutions market.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, architecture frameworks, and integration methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with the ability to foster strategic partnerships and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align technical solutions with clients’ business objectives and value propositions.
