HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Type of Employment: Full time Permanent
Location: Accra, Ghana
We are looking to hire a motivated and experienced Human Resource professional to join our growing team to own and
continuously improve our core HR functions. This role will ensure all processes align with ISO27001 standards and partner with
other managers on governance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing HR practices, processes, strategies and compliance within the
company. This role requires a pro-active and strategic thinker with the ability to work in silo and with others.
Main Responsibilities of the Role:
- To manage the operations of the Human Resources department for the Company.
- Administer and oversee all core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, contract management, performance
reviews, and offboarding. - Develop and Implement HR strategy
- Own and maintain the employee handbook ensuring it is always up to date.
- Ensure all employment practices comply with the Employment laws and regulations
- Collaborating with other Managers to ensure the smooth running of the Company from a people perspective.
- Staff attendance and absence monitoring
- Providing HR reports and updates to Senior Management.
- Creating best practice management guides for Managers on people related activities and Coaching and supporting managers through any staffing issues.
- Ensure all HR documentation is clear, consistent, and stored appropriately.
- Responsible for Compliance across the business including ensuring Licenses and related documentation is up to date and readily available.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Other general administration
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in HR Management.
- Minimum 5 years post Professional HR Certification [eg. CIPD].\
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related subject.
- A masters or MBA will be an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Pro-active problem solver and self-starter.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
